Jailbreaking iPhone with Redsnow

After you finished downloading redsn0w application, these are steps for jailbreaking your iPhone so you can install applications that requires jailbreaking before you can install it properly.

1. Install redsnow on your PC or your notebook before you connect iPhone using USB cable.
2. After that you can launch redsnow.
3. On the redsnow application click “Browse” to choose any of the firmware you need: (iPhone1.1 for iPhone 2G, iPhone1.2 for iPhone 3G, iPod1.1 for iPod touch 1G dan iPod2.1 untuk iPod touch 2G).
4. After choosing the firmware, redsnow will automatically process and identify the firmware, after the process is completed you can click “Next”
5. On the next step redsnow will begin downloading files you need for jailbreaking, note that you have to connect to the internet for this step.
6. After completing download, you can click “Next” to install Cydia.
7. Follow the instruction afterwards to turn off your iPhone, after shutting down the device you can move on to next step by clicking “Next”.
8. Follow the instruction to bring your iPhone on DFU mode.
9. After that last step, you just wait until redsnow finish the whole process and after that your iPhone is now jailbreaked.
